So mainly because I don't have my license yet, God may be opening the doors for next summer, when I will be able to drive myself.
I am praying about finding someone (maybe a few people) willing this summer to drive me and help me out. Maybe someone out there feels like God is leading them to serve, and this is the way.
So, things are still up in the air, but I believe God is in complete control.
Whether it be this year, next year or even the year after that, I really believe this it something God is calling me to do. :)
Proverbs 3:5-6, "5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."

The Idea...
I've been doing photography for almost 3 years now. I had been striving for a long time to find a way to honor God through my photography. And nothing seemed to come to mind.
But God always has a plan and when you give it to Him, He will show you the way and open the doors.
Last December, I was listening to a song on the radio. "One Last Christmas" by Matthew West.
And wow did that song hit me. Hard.
(You can listen to it here)
I immediately knew how I could serve God through my photography.
Taking photos for families who have children dying from leukemia.
To give them what may be their last moment together, captured in a photo that can be kept for years to come. To spread the love of God through it.
I have been praying that God will open the doors for me to do this. I would like to start this summer and I'm excited to see what God has in store. :)
Lord willing, I would like to call my 'organization' (or whatever it is) 1 Peter 4:10
It is a super powerful verse to me. "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
God has given me the gift and opportunity to do photography, and I want to use it for Him.
God Bless everyone!
